GARETH PUGH PITTI 2011 - FILM BY RUTH HOGBEN (via SHOWstudio)
I love Gareth Pugh’s work and his short films in collaboration with Ruth Hogben are mesmerizing. Last season he showed a fashion film instead of displaying his collection on the catwalk, and had the whole fashion world talking about ways in which designers can present their work. This film, shown at Pitti Uomo in Florence, features a mini-collection and has the same robotic pace and kaleidoscopic images as Pugh’s first but with some nice, calmer moments as well.
I highly recommend that you watch full-screen.
