![Milan Fashion Week: Seeing Stars at Dolce & Gabbana
Live streaming on Style.com a few minutes ago was Dolce & Gabbana’s show, and it looks like the label is seeing stars this season! From printed chiffon to oversized earrings and embellished in sequins, it’s left me starry eyed and was beautifully offset by their “Masculine Feminine” look of sharp monochrome tailoring and elegant androgyny.
On a side note, as curious as I was to see all the backstage goings on beforehand, I think that it takes away some of the mystery of the show itself. Backstage isn’t hidden away, out of view, for nothing. As a photographer myself, often photographing the backstage goings on of boys in bands, I love to see behind the scenes but in the case of fashion I think it spoils the surprise as it is all about image.
